Seminole Ridge hadn't done well against Dwyer recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted against the Panthers since March 1, 2023.

Gage Roof tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
