Soccer Recap: Brother Rice Comes Up Short

Brother Rice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks. While losing is never fun, Brother Rice can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Bloomfield Hills are ranked 18th).

Brother Rice's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-3. As for Bloomfield Hills, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4-1.

Brother Rice does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomfield Hills, they will take on Seaholm at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
