Basketball Recap: Tennessee Triumphs

Tennessee won the last time they faced West Ridge and things went their way on Friday too. The Tennessee Vikings slipped by the West Ridge Wolves 64-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Tennessee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colin Brown, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 21 points and six assists. The matchup was Brown's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Phillips, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 16 points.

Tennessee's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for West Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Tennessee and Copper Hills will compete for holiday cheer at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Tennessee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Copper Hills likes a good challenge. As for West Ridge, they will host KACHEA at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st.
