Basketball Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Wins Going Away Against Randolph

Kenyon-Wanamingo hadn't done well against Randolph recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights took down the Randolph Rockets 64-48. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Rockets back in January, they had to take a 73-60 defeat.

Kenyon-Wanamingo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Kenyon-Wanamingo and Randolph could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Kenyon-Wanamingo (ranked 277th) will meet Goodhue (ranked 94th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenyon-Wanamingo is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. Similarly, Randolph will square off against Cannon Falls at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday down 248 places (272 vs. 24).
