While Sun Prairie West's victory against Watertown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Wolves' defense stepped up to hand the Goslings a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. That's two games straight that Sun Prairie West have won by just one goal.

Sun Prairie West has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Watertown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Sun Prairie West will welcome Monona Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Watertown, they will head out to square off against Oregon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Watertown's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
