After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln-Sudbury, Westford Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Waltham Hawks as they made off with a 15-3 win. The Grey Ghosts haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Westford Academy got a massive performance out of Lyla Griffin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Griffin a new career-high. Grace Janowsky was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Westford Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. They are 4-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
