Basketball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Port Isabel Tarpons didn't end well, with the Valley View Tigers falling 69-51. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 59-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Valley View's record now sits at 5-15. As for Port Isabel, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Valley View is taking a road trip to take on Jubilee Brownsville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Isabel has already played their next contest (against Grulla), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
