Football Recap: Kimball Starts Season with Win Against Hyannis

Kimball gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on Hyannis with a sharp 44-24 win. For Kimball, this counts as revenge for the 30-12 victory Hyannis walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Kimball was led to victory by Ryker Behrend and Luke Berger. Behrend threw for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Berger gained 148 total yards. The dominant performance also gave Berger a new career-high in rushing yards (111).

Coming up, Kimball will venture away from home to take on Bayard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hyannis, they will host Hemingford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
