Volleyball Recap: Lena-Winslow Panthers vs. Stillman Valley Cardinals

It was a proper cat-fight when Lena-Winslow took on Stillman Valley on Saturday. The Lena-Winslow Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Stillman Valley Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in September.

Lena-Winslow easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16.

Rachael Setterstrom paced Lena-Winslow's offense, picking up nine kills. Setterstrom got some help from Alyssa Daughenbaugh and her 23 assists. Mia Diffenderfer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lena-Winslow has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Stillman Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-13-1 record this season.
