Preview: Elkmont vs. Hazel Green
The Elkmont Red Devils will be playing at home against the Hazel Green Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkmont's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Last Thursday, Elkmont was the victim of a tough 5-1 loss at the hands of West Limestone.
Meanwhile, Hazel Green had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. Their tough 6-1 defeat to Bob Jones on Monday might stick with them for a while. Jeremiah Batista was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Elkmont's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hazel Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Elkmont suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Hazel Green in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Elkmont was down 5-0.
