With a playoff win on the line, Stillwater rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Irondale/Mounds View Knights. Considering the Ponies have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ella Weisser made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
