Basketball Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

Montgomery County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bracken County Polar Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly three points.

Montgomery County's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Bracken County, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Montgomery County will head out to take on Paris at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Paris will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Montgomery County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bracken County, they will be playing at home against Augusta at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
