Recap: New Underwood vs. Kadoka

Kadoka won the last time they faced New Underwood, and things went their way on Friday, too. Kadoka walked away with a 36-26 win.

Kadoka's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 18 points in the first half. New Underwood came up with 14 to make it 18-14 heading into the break. The offense for Kadoka continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 18 points to put the game away.

No one put up better numbers for Kadoka than senior Marcus Herber, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 91 yards on the ground and accumulated 259 passing yards. In fact, with 12 tackles Herber was a force on both sides of the ball. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Jarred Hicks, who racked up 10 tackles. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 2-2.

Kadoka will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Wall in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Kadoka and Wall will really light up the scoreboard. As for New Underwood, they will face off against Newell.
