Middletown's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Princeton Vikings 3-2. This was payback for the Middies, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Middletown was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16, 15-7.

Middletown now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Princeton, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Middletown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Wayne on the 30th. As for Princeton, they will challenge Mt. Healthy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
