Westover Christian Academy had won three straight games and Emily Evans did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs took down the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights 61-42 thanks to Evans, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and 13 boards. Her afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 25 points.

Another player making a difference was Mollie Lackey, who posted four points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Molly Hamner, who put up 19 points and seven boards. That was a full 45.2% of Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's points, marking the seventh time in a row Hamner has had more than a third of the team's points. Liza Watkins was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 12 points.

Westover Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Westover Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 41-14 win against Christian Heritage Academy on the 10th. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-30 loss against Brunswick Academy on the 14th.
