Basketball Recap: Mastery Beats LEAP Academy for Their 11th Straight Win

Mastery entered their tilt with LEAP Academy on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They blew past the LEAP Academy Lancers 57-5. The Warrior have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Brasyia Stern continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 34 points. Those 34 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Diora Green, who posted six points.

Mastery's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.6 points per game. As for LEAP Academy, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mastery has already played their next contest (against Camden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
