Mundelein won the last time they faced Warren Township and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs won by a run and slipped past the Blue Devils 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Joey Kafka looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caden Earing, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Weiss, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Mundelein's record is now 14-5-2. As for Warren Township, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Mundelein will welcome Carmel at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren Township, they will head out to challenge Fremd at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
