Buffalo Gap starts season with loss on the road

Buffalo Gap had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 9-0 walloping at the hands of the Bath County Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Buffalo Gap of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.
The victory made it two in a row for Bath County and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo Gap will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Craig County at 6:00 p.m. on April 5th. As for Bath County, they will head out on the road to take on Auburn at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
