Basketball Recap: Diagonal Takes a Loss

Diagonal lost against Moulton-Udell back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The game between the Maroons and the Eagles didn't end well, with the Maroons falling 52-35.

Diagonal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Moulton-Udell, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Diagonal will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Melcher-Dallas at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Moulton-Udell, they will head out to challenge Mormon Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
