Baseball Recap: Richfield Takes a Loss

Richfield fell victim to Juab and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Wasps. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Wasps: they've now lost five in a row.

Richfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Juab, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Richfield will square off against Emery at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Juab, they will take on Payson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Wasps' favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Lions have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
