Baseball Recap: Cedar Hill Comes Up Short

Cedar Hill and Harker Heights squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cedar Hill had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. The Longhorns' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Cedar Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marlon Harris, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Cedar Hill's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Harker Heights, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8-2 record this season.

While Cedar Hill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
