Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick's Comes Up Short

St. Patrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Ogallala Indians, falling 3-0. The Irish were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-15.

Ruby Uerling paced St. Patrick's offense, picking up ten kills. Uerling got some help from Brooke Brosius and her 16 assists.

Ogallala can attribute much of their success to Addison Slama, who had 13 digs.

St. Patrick's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Ogallala, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

St. Patrick's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Hershey on the 18th. As for Ogallala, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Scottsbluff on the 16th.
