Basketball Recap: Woodridge Triumphs

While Woodridge didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They escaped with a win on Saturday against the Manchester Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55.

Woodridge's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Manchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodridge will head out to take on Field at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Field will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Woodridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Manchester, they are taking a road trip to challenge Tuslaw at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
