            Softball Recap: Kamiak Knights vs. North Creek Jaguars        
        
		
        
        
            Kamiak lost to North Creek  back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Knights blew past the Jaguars 8-1.

 Synclair Mawudeku spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Emma Stansfield was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Katie McBride, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Kamiak was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Creek only posted a  batting average of  .233.
Kamiak's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for North Creek,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 21-4.
As of now, neither Kamiak nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
