Vail Christian extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Sam Bates. The Saints blew past the Limon Badgers 3-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Bates, who had 12 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

While Vail Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 26-24, 25-12.

Vail Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Limon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Vail Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Lamar on the 4th. As for Limon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pueblo Central on the 4th.
