Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Lafayette). They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Benton Central Bison on Thursday. Considering West Lafayette have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

West Lafayette pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five matches. As for Benton Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

West Lafayette and Benton Central are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Red Devils will challenge Frankfort at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Benton Central, they will take on Hanover Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
