Basketball Recap: Uplift Elevate Prep Piles Up the Points Against Williams Prep

It was a Battle of the Birds when Uplift Elevate Prep challenged Williams Prep on Friday. The Blue Jays couldn't have asked for a better start to 2026 than the 66-23 blowout they got against the Falcons. The Blue Jays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 28 points or more this season.

Sir Titan Tasby was his usual excellent self, going 8-for-10 on his way to 22 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in shooting accuracy (80%). Duran Hollis was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten assists and nine steals.

Uplift Elevate Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Uplift Elevate Prep's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. As for Williams Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uplift Elevate Prep will host Atlas Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Williams Prep, they will face off against Austin Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Avengers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
