Softball Recap: Scituate Takes a Loss

Barrington hit Scituate with a seven-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Spartans lost 11-1 to the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly ten runs.

Scituate saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Rotondo, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

This is the second loss in a row for Scituate and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for Barrington, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Scituate nor Barrington have any future games scheduled.
