Basketball Recap: Columbia Wildcats vs. Emmett Huskies

Columbia lost against Emmett two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Columbia Wildcats lost 50-24 to the Emmett Huskies. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 7-3 in the first quarter.

Natalie Goslin was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards for Emmett. Goslin has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Sammons, who posted 13 points.

Columbia has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Emmett, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.
