Basketball Game Preview: Lindblom Eagles vs. Rockford Auburn Knights + Official Tickets

The Lindblom Eagles will take on the Rockford Auburn Knights at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lindblom beat Julian 51-47. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockford Auburn). They breezed past Freeport to the tune of 86-48 on Friday. The Knights pushed the score to 69-43 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pretzels had little chance of recovering from.

Rockford Auburn's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lindblom, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Lindblom couldn't quite finish off Rockford Auburn when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 53-50. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
