Genoa-Kingston picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Pearl City Wolves out 59-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cogs.

Genoa-Kingston is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Pearl City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Genoa-Kingston will take on Newman Central Catholic in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Genoa-Kingston knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Newman Central Catholic likes a good challenge. Pearl City and Orangeville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pearl City is facing Orangeville at the right time seeing as Orangeville is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
