Volleyball Recap: Redeemer Christian Lions vs. Harvest Community Warriors

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Redeemer Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Harvest Community Warriors on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-12.

Delaney Shaw paced Redeemer Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Shaw really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. Madelyn Powers controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Harvest Community got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rylie Harris out in front who had 13 assists and four aces. Harris is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Redeemer Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Harvest Community, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-9.

Redeemer Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harvest Community, after both having extra time off, they and St. Edward's will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
