Softball Game Preview: West Covina Bulldogs vs. Rowland Raiders

For the second straight game, West Covina will face off against Rowland. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Covina has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, West Covina didn't have quite enough to beat Rowland and fell 11-10.

Danielle Diaz stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Sophia Adler was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.

West Covina's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9-1. As for Rowland, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-6-1.
