Volleyball Recap: Cy-Fair Takes a Loss

Cy-Fair was the 2-0 winner over Katy Taylor when they last played one another back in August of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by London Hart and Macie Caramanica, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Giselle Barbosa and her 12 assists. Mia Romero controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cy-Fair now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Katy Taylor, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Cy-Fair and Katy Taylor will both be playing Alief Taylor the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Lions at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, while the Bobcats will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
