East Union got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They put the hurt on the Patterson Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lancers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

East Union not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Patterson between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was JOCELYN PENA, who had eight digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

PENA wasn't the only good servers: East Union was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
