JSerra Catholic won the last time they faced Roosevelt and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions skirted past the Mustangs 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Liliana Escobar looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Magenta De Arte was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Annabel Raftery, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

JSerra Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Roosevelt, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, JSerra Catholic will challenge Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt has already played their next contest (against Poly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
