Basketball Recap: Franklin Road Christian Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Franklin Road Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Franklin Christian Academy Falcons with a sharp 57-32 win. The Minutemen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Franklin Road Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lakelyn Dempsey out in front who posted ten points in addition to 14 boards, 11 assists, and 11 steals. Those 11 steals gave Dempsey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gracie Tidwell, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards.
