Basketball Recap: Boyd Anderson Skates Past Northeast with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Boyd Anderson's strategy against Northeast on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Boyd Anderson Cobras blew the Northeast Hurricanes out of the water with a 64-26 final score. The Cobras pushed the score to 49-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hurricanes had little chance of recovering from.

Theodore Richardson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5 for 9 en route to 11 points along with five assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Juawayne Walters, who posted seven points and seven assists.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Boyd Anderson was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory (which was Boyd Anderson's third in a row) raised their record to 13-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Northeast, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Boyd Anderson will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cypress Bay at 7:30 p.m. As for Northeast, they are taking a road trip to take on Stoneman Douglas at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
