Football Recap: Cambridge/Salem vs. Stillwater Warriors        
        
		
             With a playoff game on the line, Cambridge/Salem rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   21-13  win over the Stillwater Warriors. The  victory was nothing new for Cambridge/Salem as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Preston Peabody was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Those 110  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
 When it comes to explaining why Stillwater lost, don't look at  Aidan Callanan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 61 yards and a touchdown. Callanan has become a key player for Stillwater: the team is 4-2 when he posts  at  least  100  rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.  Landen Staie handled things on the ground, rushing for 83 yards.
 Cambridge/Salem pushed their record up to 8-2 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points per game. As for Stillwater,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 5-5 record.
 Cambridge/Salem will challenge Greenwich at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Cambridge/Salem is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 39  points per game  this season. Stillwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
