Softball Game Preview: Westview Warriors vs. Eastside Blazers

The Westview Warriors will challenge the Eastside Blazers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westview has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Wednesday, Westview came up short against Fairfield and fell 14-11. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Eastside was able to grind out a solid victory over Lakeland on Monday, taking the game 7-3. The win continues a trend for the Blazers in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won seven in a row.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Westview, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
