Soccer Recap: Goshen Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Valley Central on Tuesday, Goshen Central came back down to earth. The Gladiators took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warwick Wildcats on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Warwick this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Goshen Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Warwick, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Goshen Central will take on Byram Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warwick, they will face off against Valley Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Warwick will be up against Valley Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.83 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
