On Friday, Ector beat King's Academy 41-33.
When it comes to explaining why King's Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Everett Hollis. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Hollis' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Tucker was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 10 rebounds.
Ector's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for King's Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Ector will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Miller Grove at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for King's Academy, they will square off against Oakwood at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
