Basketball Game Preview: Intermountain Christian Lions vs. Rockwell Marshals

The Intermountain Christian Lions will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Rockwell Marshals at 7:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Rockwell entered their tilt with American Prep WV on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 67-57 victory over the Eagles. That's two games straight that the Marshals have won by exactly ten points.

Intermountain Christian better focus on containing Isaac Christiansen and Cesare Baiardi as the pair were huge in Rockwell's win. Christiansen went 10 of 18 on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds, while Baiardi went 7 for 14 en route to 20 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists. With that strong performance, Christiansen is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Kaysen Rife was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Rockwell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Rockwell pushed their record up to 6-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Intermountain Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
