West Franklin took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Northern Heights Wildcats 15-6. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Zeek Dowd was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Dowd was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
