Basketball Recap: Oshkosh West Comes Up Short

Oshkosh West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 49-38 to the Fond du Lac Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 49-38 loss last Thursday.

Oshkosh West now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Fond du Lac, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-14.

Looking ahead, Oshkosh West will host Appleton East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Appleton East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Oshkosh West likes a good challenge. As for Fond du Lac, they will head out to take on Kimberly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
