The Aurora Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Westminster Christian Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Aurora Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Marian Central Catholic hit Aurora Christian with a four-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 12-4 to the Hurricanes. It was the first time this season that the Eagles let down their fans at home.

Aurora Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Niedzwiecki, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Kaleb Elwood was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Westminster Christian never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Christian Liberty. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

Westminster Christian let Brian Powers and Luke Bartolome run wild. Powers went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Bartolome went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Powers has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Vaagen, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Westminster Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Aurora Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Aurora Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Westminster Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 strikeouts.
