Volleyball Recap: Coachella Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Coachella Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cathedral City Lions by a score of 2-0. The Mighty Arabs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Yamarani Vega paced Coachella Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Vega got some help from Vanessa Garcia and her 15 assists. Finally, Vega was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Coachella Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cathedral City, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coachella Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Palm Springs on the 16th. As for Cathedral City, they will head out to face off against Desert Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
