Baseball Recap: Valley Park's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

The Valley Park Hawks didn't have quite enough to beat the MICDS Rams on Saturday and fell 4-3. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Valley Park's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-4. As for MICDS, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Park will challenge Maplewood-Richmond Heights at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for MICDS, they will venture away from home to challenge Kirkwood at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
