Shenango is 8-2 against Laurel since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Shenango Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Laurel Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Shenango ended up a good deal behind Neshannock and lost 60-46. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Lancers are ranked first).

Meanwhile, Laurel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart 56-26.

Laurel now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Shenango, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Shenango's way against Laurel in their previous matchup back in January, as Shenango made off with a 69-43 victory. Does Shenango have another victory up their sleeve, or will Laurel turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
