Volleyball Recap: Maiden Makes It Five in a Row at Home

After losing to St. Stephens the last time they met, Maiden decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blue Devils blew past the Indians 3-0 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Blue Devils have posted against the Indians since August 23, 2016.

While Maiden won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-21.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maiden will head out to square off against Bandys at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Stephens, they will venture away from home to take on Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
